Action For Kids was registered as a UK charity in 1992, and works both locally and nationally to assist disabled children and young people to lead full and independent lives by: ·
- funding specialist mobility equipment, such as powered wheelchairs, trikes and walkers
· providing a family support service, offering assistance and a listening ear to disabled young people and those around them
· offering a range of bespoke accredited education and training programmes designed to assist with the transition to living and working more independently, enable inclusion and raise self-esteem.
